If nothing changes, by 2025 that number will double to 1 in 10.

30 million people in Africa are currently living with AIDS.

Africa makes up only 10% of the world's population, yet 60% of the world's HIV population lives there.

8,000 people die every day from AIDS. Thats one every 11 seconds, or 2 in the time it's taken you to read these stats.

At Cal Poly from Oct 28-Nov 2, the impact1 tent is an immersive journey through the life of a child affected by AIDS. Step into the tent and you will see, hear, and feel their world. You will be moved, challenged, and invited to respond to the greatest humanitarian crisis of our time.
